PhotoSophistry will design custom packages as requested. While our prices reflect traveling in a 30-mile San Francisco Bay Area radius, we do travel across the United States and internationally as needed. Following is our basic pricing structure.
WEDDINGS
Wedding packages that include several hours of wedding day photography with one of our distinguished principal photographers and includes a professionally bound commemorative photo book begin at a modest $1,999. Of course, we also offer premium packages with two of our distinguished principal photographers, extended coverage hours, and professionally bound commemorative books beginning at $3,999. And if none of the packages are ideal, we will create custom packages based on our client's budget. Prices do not include travel expenses where necessary.
PORTRAITS
Senior Grad Photo Sessions: $150 includes a portrait session, photo editing and touch-ups, 30-40 online proofs and 8 hard-copy proofs (4 X 6) in a small display portfolio. All your additional prints are then ordered “a la’ carte”. Orders for prints can range from $25 to $250, depending on what size and how many prints you order. We will work with you to include unique elements such as a musical instrument, pet, or sport equipment in your photos if desired.
Professional Portfolio Sessions: $190 includes a one-hour portrait session, photo editing and touch-ups, 40-50 online proofs and 10 hard-copy proofs (5 X 7) in a display portfolio. All your additional prints are then ordered “a la’ carte”. Orders for prints can range from $50 to $500, depending on what size and how many prints you order. An optical disk with high resolution photos can be provided at a cost. Professionally bound print portfolios can be created and produced on a regular basis (10-14 days) or expedited basis (5-7 days). Children/Family Special: $75 includes a one-hour session, photo editing and touch-ups, 30-40 online proofs and 5 hard-copy proofs (4 X 6) in a display portfolio. EVENTS
Event Photography: $175 per hour, with a minimum of two event hours, is the basic event package. Beginning the third hour, the rate decreases to $90 per hour for each subsequent hour. These rates exclude any travel or other event-related costs. All rates include photo editing and touch-ups, and several online proofs. All prints are then ordered “a la’ carte”. Orders for prints can range from $50 to $500, depending on what size and how many prints you order. An optical disk with high resolution photos can be provided at a cost. Government and nonprofit agencies hosting public interest events may contact us for special rates.
Prints are available in several sizes including, but not limited to, wallets, 4 X 6, 5 X 7, 8 X 10, 8 X 12, 12 X 18, 16 X 20 etc. Prints may be done in matte or high glossy finishes. Individual prints may be ordered. Wallet-sized prints cost as little as $5.00 for a set, while a 12 X 18 large print costs $30.00. An optical disk/flash drive of edited high-resolution photos from the entire shoot, may be purchased for $125.*
